Theo Kleynhans

He is a playwright, sculptor, ceramist, curator and author. Currently Kleynhans is the Curator for the Visual Arts of the ABSA KKNK (Klein Karoo Arts Festival). He also works as Art Director on international film projects, was the Western Cape Chairman of the South African National Association for Artists (SANAVA) and is a free-lance Art Critic for Die Burger. Kleynhans works mainly in gouache & ink, conté, acrylic and print media.

His work is represented in numerous private and public collections both locally and overseas. Theo Kleynhans has received the Dreams award, the Plascon painting prize, the SA Breweries sculpture award and has been a finalist in the ABSA Atelier Awards, The Momentum Life Awards and the APSA Ceramic Awards.
