The Gallery Café

It is not without reason that The Gallery Café is voted as one of the top ten in their specific category, by the Rossouw’s Restaurants 2007 guide.

On the menu are light meals with a Mediterranean flair, served under the dappled shade of a hundred year old tree in the courtyard during summer, or in front of a log fire in winter.

The Gallery Café is proud to be the first restaurant exclusively serving wines from the Durbanville Wine Route namely, Altydgedacht, Bloemendal, De Grendel, Diemersdal, Durbanville Hills, Hillcrest, Meerendal and Ntida. Patrons are welcome to taste some of the wines before making a selection to accompany their meal.

“ A Cooking Demonstration & Meet the Wine Maker” is presented on the 3rd Thursday evening of every month at 19h00 to 22h00.

Helena Bester, innovative chef of the Gallery Café, cooks up a storm while a wine maker, from one of the various excellent wine farms on the Durbanville wine route, does a wine tasting. As seating is limited, booking is essential - contact Helena Bester or Seugnet Ehlers 021 975 - 7949
